Prickly Pear Hardy Cactus

Prickly indeed!

Arrived looking pretty healthy with one new paddle sprouting from an older one, safely encased within a protective layer of cardboard with significant tape keeping it all together. I transplanted it into a larger pot immediately and haven't really noticed any changes for better or worse in the two weeks since, but I am satisfied so far and looking forward to seeing how this guy grows into the future.
