Real quality Tuscan shoes made without going to Italy

I haven't broken them in but so far they are excellent and will be my walking sneaker for many years I'm sure.

Highest quality materials and construction, but not the best approach.

Perfect sizing recommendation, amazing quality and beautiful material. However, after months of wearing for 2-3 times a week, the material remains stiff and mildly uncomfortable. First. the construction is not like normal sneakers, the two sides with eyelets come up much higher than others. The gap between the two sides is maybe a few CM after tying the shoes. This makes a series of strange wear points and pressure points until you find that perfect lacing position... but then you dont want to undo it and these shoes do not like letting your your foot in with out undoing and redoing the laces, or let it out. After maybe 20min of walking, they kind of break in a little. But it's back into the feel if you stand still for long periods of time. or the next day, All in all, this shoe feels like you're wrapping yourself in some kind of leather plastic wrap at first and only gets a 20-30% better (so far). I have another pair from a competitor that simply does not have these issues and the leather is much more supple and looks better as well. I wont be buying another pair, but 3 stars for the materials, construction and perfect sizing.
