Problems with Customer Service almost EVERYTIME I've used Embark

With the first litter, they said that they never received 2 of 3 samples returned in the same envelope. The "replacement swabs" arrived the same day that the original swab results were posted. The second litter was uneventful. The third litter's swabs sat with Embark for over two weeks before I was ever told that they hadn't been activated (they had and EVERY ONE of the pups in that litter already had a profile in my portal.. HOW did that happen if the swabs were not activated???? NO help whatsoever in getting results expedited when they sat on the "unactivated" swabs for 2 weeks without ever contacting me that there was an issue (if there really was, it wasn't on MY end! Not sure that I'll purchase any more tests from them once the remaining ones that I possess have been used. Wisdom or the AKC DNA panel are MUCH MORE attractive options at this point. Additionally they justify the cost of tests by testing for diseases/conditions that are NOT ever found in my breed, thus generating a multipage report of a lot of garbage data. One thing that they have gotten right is the adult size prediction, much to my surprise.

I have spent a ton of money with Embark and I'm cool with that. 🤪 I appreciate the price, turnaround time, email and call support, and knowing exactly what I am producing. I've learned a lot about genetics, by testing entire litters.
