Matches my Japanese razor saw

This winter i resolved to get better at cutting dovetail joints after finishing my Chris Gochnour inspired woodworking bench. I had a razor pull saw and tried using metal shim gauges to set up the offset between the tail and pin cuts. It just got too complicated. The block is nicely machined and can be lightly clamped to the side of the pins board without stress.

So simpel, aber so genial. Auch wenn, aufgrund von Versand, Steuer, Zoll und Gebühren der Preis fast verdoppelt, ist das unscheinbare Teil ein absoluter Gamechanger. Ich habe im ersten Versuch damit, eine Schwalbenschwanzverbindung machen können, die so perfekt sitzt, dass ich sie nicht mal leimen musste. So simple, but so brilliant. Even if, due to shipping, tax, customs and fees, the price is almost doubled, the inconspicuous part is an absolute game changer. I was able to make a dovetail joint in the first attempt that sits so perfectly, that I didn't even have to glue it.
