I want to love this jacket

I'm 5'2 125lbs and 34B girls. I tried both a medium and small but settled on the medium. The small fit but there would only be room for a shirt in the sleeves which defeats the point in late season hunting. This jacket is well constructed and very warm. I hunted in 30mph winds and found it very windproof. I tried wearing it in 30 degrees w high wind I liked the high collar surprisingly it is very soft. However i was cold since there is no good way to layer under it. The idea of wrist gaiters sounded great when i ordered but they make it impossible to wear a full length sleeve and extremely difficult to wear a release. The sleeves in general taper too tightly. I was only able to wear a thin base layer thicker base and the olan merino "jacket" under. Even that was uncomfortable and made it hard to move. In the end i put my release on first then gloves and jacket last. It stands up well to light rain and wind but the sleeves need to be refit. I wanted to love this jacket but it can only be my Wisconsin mid season jacket.

Toasty warm

I was nervous to try a new company, especially since DSG is supposed to be for woman and they severely let me down. However, this jacket with the matching bibs are TOASTY. I only hunt archery and was able to wear less layers and still move. The material is flexible and doesn’t make me feel like a stuffed sausage. I haven’t tested it in the snow or rain yet but I’m hopeful. 30 degrees this morning and I was fine with only one long sleeve underneath … had a heated vest but didn’t even need to turn it on !
