Keychron K1 Pro QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard

Improved so much

I've had a keychron K1 v4 for 3 years now and whilst it's a good keyboard, the keycaps with backlight shining through aren't that durable. There's 3 keys on that keyboard where the letters have worn off. Not good. Sad, because it's a great typing experience. This problem is fixed with the K1 pro. Not only that, but the typing experience is second to none - it's just amazing. I'm used to the TKL layout - and this keyboard is essentially an identical layout except the keys take up more space. There's less gap between them, but the keycap shape is more traditional. Add all of this plus the open source nature, the connectivity improvements, that fact it has keyboard feet - and I get all the goodness I got with the K1 v4 but vastly improved. Nice one!

First Keychron keyboard, but not my first mechanical one.

I have a few high-quality keyboards from different manufacturers that I use for my gaming, but I find myself clumsy while typing with them, and they are quite loud—and I mean it, LOUD. I needed a quiet mechanical keyboard with a small footprint for my daily programming. The K1 Pro is by far the BEST keyboard I have ever worked with. The size of the keys and the distance between them make it perfect, especially when it comes with a MacOS layout, which I can also use for my Linux machines.
