Perfect for the Single Senior

This is my second Dash air fryer. The first one was the smaller model. This new one is just a tad bigger. It is perfect for me. I like the ceramic improvement and the little silicone "feet" on the tray. I have used my air fryer regularly and have initiated this new one with chicken drumsticks and slices of leftover pizza. I am anxious to bake tiny pies that I get from our local orchard shop. These pies even fit in my old Dash. A sweet little versatile machine.

Not perfect but pretty awesome

Goal: Effective crisping with a small footprint and clear evidence that the manufacturer avoided heavy metals and forever chemicals. Pros: Works as expected. 6 inch square parchment fits perfectly (avoid food contact with the ceramic coated aluminum). Really like that the lights are off when the basket is out. The reduced height allows it to just fit in our lower cabinet; makes me so happy. Good reporting on materials used in manufacturing. Cons: It took several iterations to complete the off-gassing. The first food I tried recommended 325 degrees. Oops, only increments of 10. I figure that 5 degrees is no big deal since it's replacing a dial. The lack of a memory is a little annoying given the start time is automated at 20 minutes. Wish it started at 10 or even 15 minutes to reduce time bonding with the down arrow. Wish Dash would use a high quality stainless steel over the aluminum. The cream color is very yellow. We have an incentive to put it away because the color is not pretty and the plastic looks kind of cheap, not sleek like shown in the photos. The price has jumped $20 in the last couple months; the Black Friday sales put it back to the former retail price. I am not a fan of shipping in the retail box. Arrived fine, but a little more cardboard would have been cleaner and less enticing to thieves.
