Poor customer service

My Luminizing oil came damaged , there was a hole in the pump which prevents the product from being picked up and has caused it to leak. I contacted costumer service and asked for a replacement or refund , they offered in store credit. I bought this product during the summer sale but by the time I received a response , the sale was over. I brought up this concern aswell as my concern with shipping, I have spent over $200 at Elate Beauty in the past couple weeks and therefore feel I am entitled to not have to now pay for a replacement and shipping on a product that is damaged due to incorrect packing. When voicing this I was told that I need to spend over $75 again to receive the free shipping. I also only was given $33 of credit when the product costs $39. Lastly , I was told that apparently on sale items cannot be returned and they were doing me a favor but I have looked on the website and cannot find anywhere that states this. I am extremely disappointed in Elate Beauty's customer service and feel I have been treated unfairly.

This oil is absolutely amazing. It absorbs readily into the skin and leaves it perfectly hydrated. For those individuals that don't like the smell, I don't think they're familiar with the nourishing oils in this and the way they smell naturally. The oil is GOLDEN and rich because of the quality of the oils inside, and that carries that natural smell with it. Smell a high quality bottle of olive oil, and it's pretty strong. Regardless, this oil is amazing under makeup or on top of your skincare. Highly recommend.
