We just started using this product with our new mattress a week ago. Fits well. We’ve had no spills so we cannot comment on its protection performance. The liner causes the bottom fitted sheet to slide a bit when there is movement. It also causes some heat retention. This is a concern since we purchased it cover a Ultra Cooling Green Tea Hybrid Mattress
