Before I bought this real one, I had made my own, but the genuine dibber is much nicer - soft oiled feel and has a sturdy handle. The only thing I wish it had is numbered measurements. I am going to try to write them on.

Long Handled Dibber

I had never used a dibber before and was surprised by how easy it made planting my small beet transplants. I like my dibber and can't wait to use it more. If only it would quit being so cold! I'm in Kansas City MO.
