Sleepypod Martingale Calming Harness for Dogs

A very nice harness!

I have a very timid rescue dog and have struggled with her escaping her harness when faced with a stressor. This harness fits differently than the tactical types I’ve used in the past. So far she seems to struggle less when she otherwise panics. I love that there is no strain on her neck and I love the little night light. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t fit as well as I hoped. It’s kind of lumpy in places. I think my dog’s body type is a bit of a challenge for many harnesses. It’s still functional though and I especially like the breathable mess in the summer.

Calming?

I had to exchange the large I ordered (which was the correct size per chart) as too big for a medium, which just fit. Fortunately Oona let's me put it on her as it is a bit difficult. Unfortunately it doesn't do anything to calm her down on walks which is why I purchased it. Also doesn't really stop her from pulling, but she's not a hard puller. Wish it calmed her down. A bit expensive for me, but I had to try it. Will keep as she has mo other harness.

Well Made Harness

Our dog is newly blind and this harness works well to help her feel secure while we are on walks.
