Tech-Air® Off-Road System

Too bulky. This is the second tech-air product that I have purchased. I have been using the plasma for almost a year, I initially purchased the plasma because I was worried about the bulk and weight of the off road version. I have made the plasma work for off road by adding elbow guards. I really dislike the way elbow guards separate from the vest fit. Usually mid ride I am adjusting the guards. So I decided to purchase the tech air off road. Unfortunately it never made it out for a ride. The hard plastic that covers the softer protection material makes this thing bulky and claustrophobic. I am sure this makes the off road incredibly safe, it’s just way too much. Before going to the tech air system I rode with a neck brace and padded shirt from the neck brace manufacturer. That was much less restrictive, less claustrophobic and breathed way better. After researching and seeing post crash testimony, I am convinced the tech air system is he way to go. It just needs to be lighter
