Airmotiv XC1 Center Channel Loudspeaker

So I wanted to wait a bit before I made this review cause I wanted to break in the speaker . I still have the c1 Center speaker I noticed some differences the XC1 one is much bigger and longer and length and width. The tweeter seems a little smaller than the c1 and the c1 is much heavier This thing is lighter has the same size speakers as C 1. so I did a blind test on both and I have to say the CX1 has a more balanced sound. The tweeter sounds amazing. It’s way more clearer . I use Jurassic Park as a reference video and all nine of my speakers are Emotiva speakers. Except my subs they are stark . The pictures online don’t do this speaker Justice. The Xc1 is a nice looking speaker you could also use it as an LCR so all in all. I’m happy with my purchase. I wish emotiva would send me one of those XMC2 plus so I could see how it sounds cause I’m looking to get rid of my Sony es 5000 and get a real processor

Pure and Honest

Bought these for our 3. 1 home theater system. This center speaker is beautiful, honest and pure. For dialogue, you hear what the production and post production teams were intending for you to hear, no extra color, but still with a touch of warmth. For music, it's also great, quite revealing, has a nice tight bass tone, nice even mid range and smooth high end. I couldn't be happier with this system. This is for those who want to hear things as the filmmaker and musician intended you to hear it.

This is a great center channel speaker which sounds great and blends in with the rest of my system seamlessly!
