30 years of patience paid off

The Emotiva XT1 speakers are the exact sound experience I have been waiting and hoping for over 30 years. The sound causes emotional music appreciation.

I purchased this system as a gift for my son. We set it up on January 1st, when he arrived at my house for the holidays. We both were impressed with the sound and ease of setup. He almost couldn't wait to leave so that he could set the system up at his house (I may have been a bit shortsighted in that regard). The only problem was that the tip of one of the connector cables came off, and it was difficult to reattach it. Other than that, everything was perfect.

A Speaker for Purists

These speakers sound beautiful. The sound is pristine and accurate. You can hear so much detail. These speakers are for purists those who want to hear the original mix. I bought them for my 3. 1 cinema setup, and they do not disappoint. They sound open, clear, detailed. The highs beautiful, crisp but round, and anything but aggressive. I feel like when you push this system, everything still feels good. No fatigue. We have a full theater like experience. I do film production sound for a living and I feel that these speakers reveal what we captured honestly. We are using the XC1 for our center and and RSL Speedwoofer 10S MK II for our subwoofer (which compliments these rather well). But I'll note that the low end in the XT1 is still great, clean and even, tight and round. I have also love listening to music on these. They are more towards smooth neutral, with just a touch of warmth. Not colored or saturated.
