Forage in Autumn

I came across Robin's books because of Alexanders. Every time I walk through the local churchyard, I see these beautiful green plants that smell like celery and think, could these be food? So when I found eatweeds, I was very excited to see that there is a whole book series about just that. So now I've gathered seeds from the Alexanders to plant in the local allotment project and my own garden thanks to Robin's wonderful books and website. I'm excited to discover a few more plants that grow locally and am carrying the Forage in Spring book everywhere with me. Beautifully illustrated with interesting histories of each plant. I bought every book in the series. Thank you Robin. This is a review for all your books. My only request is that rose petals make a delicious tea and can be boiled in sugar and water to make a delicious syrup for desserts which could be added to the Eat Weeds Cookbook. Happy foraging!
