Lightweight but sturdy
I needed a larger pot for soups, stews, pasta and flash blanching veggies. This is light compared to my Le Creuset Dutch Oven. Love that I got a glass lid fits both this and the 10" frying pan. The Dutch oven does come with a stainless steel lid. I like stainless for durability.

Not disappointed
Big cast iron fan, but stainless sure has its benefits. Heat capacity is what everyone touts as the reason to go cast iron, but this puppy holds its heat too! I don't have lab results to quantify just how it compares, but I can tell you I was a bit annoyed how long just the lid took to cool down, so that's pretty good!
I will say mine developed a couple rust streaks in the lid after the first wash. Kinda looks like tooling contamination and will probably eventually wash or polish off, so I won't deduct points. Otherwise, a beautiful product.
