Got the grain
I needed 17# of chocolate rye malt and you guys had it. It was a little awkward receiving 17 one lb bags but
the amount was right. the price was fair and it shipped quickly.

Very rich and tasty in small amount in Borodinski Rye bread; great for beer.
Excellent rich flavour for rye bread but too much when used alone. Also makes the bread texture a bit soggy. Fawcett golden rye malt always produces excellent bread, but substituting a quarter or a third of golden malt with chocolate makes it better yet and gives the bread extra richness and flavor. 20g of choc plus 35-40g of Fawcett golden- total of 55-60 g of rye malt works well with 875 g of rye flour (incl. 100g used for scalding mash) and about 300g of rye starter (zakvaska) makes about two 2-pound breads.
Good quality and highly recommend.
