Easy to Use and Affordable Kayak Mount

I just used this for the first time and although it was a bit tedious to set up, it worked well. After I got the saddles adjusted correctly, I was able to slide a kayak up on the bars and secure it down pretty easily on my own. There wasn’t a lot of extra noticeable wind noise and the kayak stayed secured down for the entire 6 hour round trip. I will absolutely be getting a second mount for anaother boat. I did buy the Billie Bars recommended kayak saddle system from Amazon to get the boat mounted sideways. You have to get longer carriage bolts to mount the saddles to the bottom bar, but otherwise they worked perfectly with the bars and the riser.
