Not as good as they used to be

I got my first pair of enchromas around 2018 and loved them. They were prescription glasses but I recently had cataract surgery so those were no longer of use to me and I purchased a new, non-prescription version. They do enhance color vision but markedly less so than did the original pair. I have corresponded with an Enchroma rep and she said that the material used has been changed and that some deutran users do not find them as effective as the old ones. I happen to have protan colorblindness, so this is apparently a more widespread situation than she suggested. I do like these, however. It's just that I got spoiled on the superior color enhancement of the old enchromas.

So I didn’t want to buy them at first but then decided what the heck let me give them a try, let me tell you something these glasses are unreal it’s amazing what colors really look like. I can’t believe what the world looks like in true color my gf and I drive around and I’m like a kid just pointing out all the different things I see in true color
