Great finish but rings don’t align

I ordered the Original Filofax for my daughter’s 21st. I’ve had mine since I was 24! The filofax arrived and she loves it. I’ve given 4 Stars because the quality of the leather outer is fantastic, however the rings do not align, which is a pity as it doesn’t match the beautiful finishing overall. I deliberately chose the Original to support British brands and it’s the only one made in the UK. I would have hoped for better quality control dear Filofax team.

Overpriced given the poor finish

The metal rings don’t perfectly join resulting in a difficult turn of pages - the design could also be better for a tighter closing rather than the very rounded shape which makes it less good to carry than cheaper alternatives which close square

Beautiful filo - but had to request inserts

This is a beautiful filo - and is my fourth from Filofax, my first one being a gift from my mum more than twenty years ago. This new one is made from the same beautiful and robust leather. So I hope it lasts just as long as the others have. The colour is so stunning and the size is perfect for me to have all the things I need for work in one place. The only issue was that most of the inserts were missing. Which was really disappointing. I followed up with Filofax and they ordered these for me, and I appreciate how efficiently and professionally this was handled. I went for the rose gold embossing - which really works well with the blue leather.
