Solar Veil Fountain Pen

An eye-catching design, and easy to use

I needed a new fountain pen for letter-writing, and I spotted an ad for Ellington Pens on Facebook, featuring the Solar Veil design. I normally ignore ads on social media, but the Solar Veil was so eye-catching that I had to find out more. I'm using the refillable reservoir and Quink permanent black ink with a 0.5mm nib. The pen sits easily in my hand and is comfortable to use, even for long periods. The ink flows well, giving a strong, uniform line on the page. And the pen looks good on my desk when not in use. Several friends have commented on it.

An Elegant Writing Tool

The pen is a wonderful instrument that has returned the joy of writing that was long lost to keyboards. In a short time, I used an entire ink capsule. The nib width is just right, and the weight makes writing very easy, effortless really. I have always loved fountain pens, and glad that I found this one.
