Such an awesome board! Super easy transition from an 8’ fiberglass to a shorter 6’ 4” board. The no-wax surface is also epic. Highly recommend.

the board is short enough to be able to carve hard but stable enough to still easily maintain balance. Its the perfect crossover of a board between a longer noserider and full shortboard.

So Much Fun

I've exclusively ridden my 7'6" single fin mini longboard for the last 15 years so I wasn't sure how the new shape, size, and fin configuration would go for me, but I had SUCH a blast on my first trip out with the pheasant. I was able to easily paddle into steeper waves, take advantage of the boards ability to accelerate down the face, and carve around a bit (nothing wild, mind you). Genuinely so stoked with my purchase and highly recommend. I did incur a couple of dings in transit to/from the coast, but now that I know what the board is sensitive to, I feel pretty confident that I'll be able to keep it in good shape for many years, and rides, to come!
