Marilyn Straight Jeans In Plus Size - Haley

A Marilyn fan - but

I have worn Marilyn-style jeans and slacks for more than a decade, so I know the products well. I bought this color to round out my wardrobe and because a favorite pair wore out (after only 1 year - Marilyn High Rise in Paddington). That said, I wish NYDJ had more consistency with fundamental elements of the style - like waist, rise, leg openings (knees are wider than ankle - which is not "straight"), and length. These jeans are marked as "Extremely Stretchy" in their description, but they LESS stretchy than other pairs I own. Before ordering, I even listed out the fabric content of all of my NYDJ jeans and compare it to these to make sure I purchased something on the stretchier side. . . which didn't help. I'll keep them and have them shortened, but with all of the nuances of changes NYDJ keeps making, I'll have to be even more careful purchasing in the future.

great jeans - just the right washed look I was hoping for. Now want one even paler for summer. Well made, tough, and good fit.

Waist is a little tight. Length is a little long for my 5’ 4 “ frame. But, I love the rest of the fit and the color.
