Wing Divider

This wing divider is great! it makes a nice clean line on the leather, great for marking stitch lines or for marking a border for tooling. The first thing i noticed when I opened the box was that the tool is wrapped in an oiled paper to protect it. The quality of the tool is evident from the first time you pick it up. This size wing divider is my go to, its small enough for small intricate work, but opens up wide enough to accommodate a deep set line. The marks on the tool are easily read and when you set the slide stop it really holds well. If you are in need of a good quality tool that you will buy once and have forever, this is it.

For the price, I expected better quality in these wing dividers. The tips don’t stay level, and if you try to set them to the closest distance between them, they will seperate as you tighten the screw.

This is the tool you're looking for. I've been using a smaller, spring-loaded set of dividers. I like them and their half-millimeter markings. . . but it's very easy to accidentally compress the spring while marking. These are rock solid and make nice and clean marks. Fantastic tool.
