Everything you need, not as easy as it looks.

I got the whole kit because, compared to the similar tools only collection, the rod components were extremely well priced and I figured it would be good practice. I was right; laying out and wrapping guides and getting smooth epoxy takes has a learning curve. I'm pretty happy with the resulting rod and may even keep it, though that was not my original intent. Overall very pleased. If I had a do-over I would probably have bought the next level up hand wrapping station and pieced together the rest of the essentials, but I would not have known that or what to get without either some guidance from a pro or the experience I had with this kit. For me this was a satisfactory and relatively low cost learning experience, and an intro to Mud Hole and their stellar customer service.
