My honest impression about the Rod Building Epoxy & Finish Kit

First of all, the shipping (to Germany) was super-fast and the package arrived without any trouble. However, the Rod Building Epoxy & Finish Kit came without the descripted "Gel 5 min (for tip tops)". Regarding the fly rod build book, the grip glue is recommended for the tip top. I did so, but the grip glue was not hardening out, so I decided to purchase another product. I build up a DH11 with 33 windings in total. The amount of the thread finish (20 ml in total) is just enough to paint twice. This should be considered. The brushes lost their hairs, picture see attached. Aluminum foil does its job, but included aluminum cups would have been handy in the set.
