Great quality product

I'm about halfway through my 476 fastglass build, and am really impressed with the quality of the blank and components. It is worth mentioning that the reel seat comes fully assembled, with the insert glued in. I had watched Epic's videos that show the seat in pieces. I wanted to turn my own insert from canvas micarta, so I wasn't able to use the assembled reel seat that came in the kit. I purchased a reel seat from another manufacturer, as well as a new cork grip to fit it, as Epic's cork recess for their reel seat is much larger than most other reel seats.

Good but…

Packaging instructions, build quality everything has been great halfway through the build and quite excited to try the rod. Only problem (slight) is that the fibreglass rod tube was cracked on arrival. Whether this happened in shipping or is a material defect, I can’t tell. Something that I can probably fix with some epoxy and fibreglass drywall tape.
