Great sounding headphones
Andrew · February 6, 2026
Please read all🙂🙂🙂 The best closed back headphones I ever owned I've owned the focal bathys, Sennheiser momentum 4. Instrument separation is great. When you're on amp/ dac. As for Bluetooth, some songs may sound different but have them wired. They sound right and they sound better. They are loud punchy and have so much detail. I did not think the 14.5 mm planar driver was going to do anything significant and it's partially true. It's integrated with the music so well but you could hear that instrument separation. You could hear it work if you really want to hear it. The passive noise canceling is the best I've ever had on a close back headphone and the noise canceling is the same almost as good as the Apple. Airpod maxes and slightly better than the Bose in my opinion, in terms of passable noise, canceling those brands cannot compare. I own the Aria organic and let me tell you when I put them side by side. I prefer the noble focus. Apollos then the Aria organic but as of overall clarity and sound stage I'll give it to the Aria organic. That 40 mm driver is really something too. It's the right size so where it's not too much base but it's enough so it's not overpowering. The 14.5 planar magnetic driver makes it where you could hear it. The voices close and far at the same time. If they're playing at the same time I would compare it to a mid-range been back headphones which is really good for a close back and that 40 millimeter dynamic driver does the same thing for base. It's immersive and far away at the same time. That sub-base goes very low in that kick is just right. And with that planar driver it's like you hear the voices like you're in the recording studio and for the ambient sounds, I did not think I was going to get that much sound stage because of the small driver but I was wrong. That sounds stage is perfect but now for the cons. Con one is the planar driver itself the same way how a dynamic driver gets distorted because it's playing too many sounds at the same time. It's the same way for the planar driver. The voice gets distorted and I overlapped with the ambience sound. That's only if you you are looking for it. If you don't care about that then these are perfect and I have nothing to say for the dynamic driver. So far it's not bloated in the base. The sub base is superb in the mid base is very nice
