Fake description
Purchased a pair of earmuffs from Earjobs based on the description that they would allow communication during team interactions. They do not do this at all. They now want to charge me 10% for restocking. Support started by saying they would exchange the item to now saying they will refund with a 10% restocking fee. I have contacted both the ACCC and Fari trading and will let them sort it out.

Autism + jackhammering friendly ear muffs
So... I have autism but I also work with jackhammers, grinders, drills etc. These cut out sound perfectly. For people with autism: they cut out sound, but squeeze a bit tight, so might cause some sensory issues there. They also form a (pretty much) airtight seal around your ears, so that might also cause a bit of sensory issues. I can live with them as my main issues are with loud sounds, and these cut them out. (The model up with active sound had an electric static sound which I couldn't handle. These don't have that feature.) For everyone else: great for loud mechanical sounds like in construction. The sound quality is decent, but obviously not Bose quality.

Ear protection
Got what I needed, was after superior ear protection while using power tools. Really does block out the unwanted noise while able to listen to podcasts/music. Buttons are nice and large so able to control easy. Have taken calls and caller can hear me easily, although tools down at the time. After a prolonged period do get achy ears from the pressure of the muffs, enough to realise it’s time to hydrate and take a break. Will def consider the earbuds as my next purchase.
