2024 Advent calendar is a timeless, beautiful design. Thank you, Mor.
The advent calendar (2024) itself is BEAUTIFUL--it really looks like an heirloom piece, even if its construction is slightly lighter materials--which is nice because it's easier to handle. The detail, and the navy, peacock, and gold colors render it lush and royal in design. It truly is gorgeous. I actually purchased two calendars this year (2025) --one for my sister and one for myself. My sister has a little baby and I thought the 2025 design was more kid-friendly--and therefore more appropriate for her, as it will grow with her family for many years--while the 2024 design is much more timeless (my child is a teenager), so I bought that for myself, and I think the 2024 is much more beautiful, personally.
My only gripes? The crafts that came with the 2024 design were a fair bit cheaper-looking and feeling than this year's design--a problem Mor seems to have already addressed, as this year's design comes with nicer (wooden) crafts. This year's (2025) calendar has drawers that are labeled for each day of Diwali (Dhanteras, Choti Diwali, etc), and that is something I would love to see them continue. I hope Mor improves the quality of the crafts with each iteration of the calendar. Personally, instead of small crafts, next year I will buy small diyas, or small individual gifts, like jhumkas, etc., to place in each drawer for the week. Perhaps Mor could offer personalized choices for the gifts in the drawers? Or a "premium" gift upgrade pack? Just a thought.
