The Starling - Black Velvet

LOVE. Incredibly comfortable. This is my 3rd pair.

This is the 3rd pair I of the Heron Birdies I have bought for my Mom and myself. They are so incredibly comfortable and stylish. Love wearing them to work/commuting before having to switch to heels or if I need cute flats. Mine last for quite a long time. Over a year easily with regular wear. I wear mine with no socks and have no odor issues. Sometimes I do a little essential oil or spray deodorant to ensure they stay that way. 100% recommend this particular style. Would LOVE an option to monogram them online or customize the colors.

Amazing, comfortable and flattering - need more than one color!

Love this shoe. Goes with everything, very comfortable, slight support in the arch, can wear all day. You will want more than one color! You may want to size slightly down.

Great shoe, inconsistent sizing

3rd pair of Birdies bought. Love the comfy fit and sturdy construction. Size varies between styles and materials, though. Thought they’d fit like my other Starling flats, which are leather, but these are very tight. Second time I’ve had to make an exchange because the different styles and materials fit so differently. Apparently I should wear a size 7. 5 in a velvet Heron, 7 in a leather Starling, and 7. 5 in a velvet Starling.
