Love the simplicity of this one!

The construction of the dress is pretty simple, which allows the beading along the shoulders to really shine! This is a snug true to size for me - this is a corset closure in the back, and a 14 just barely fit enough for the fabric panel under the lacing to close all the way. The fabric on this dress is really sturdy and makes for one of the most sturdy corset ties I've seen! It has built in cups and some boning to help support the cups in the bodice, then boning in the back to give support to the corset closure. The thick fabric also has a slight sheen that works well with the beading. I wanted to be able to wear this to work, and since the focal point is the shoulders, I couldn't wear it with a cardigan, so I wore a mesh mock neck shirt under the dress, and it worked perfectly! Oh, and pockets for those who like them!

Special Occasion Beauty

As soon as I saw this dress, I knew I needed it. It just LOOKS special. I recently wore it to the theatre. I received SO many compliments on the dress. I love the structure and fit. Plus, the pockets level it up! My only complaint is that it runs a bit small. I had to exchange my original purchase. Otherwise, this dress is a dream!

Satin material looked “rough”

This dress took me by surprise because the quality seemed so unlike a JessaKae dress. Based on the pictures, I anticipated a smooth satin fabric; however, the material is more rough looking in person. The embellishments were also dull in appearance. Overall, it gave the appearance of a much lower quality dress, which is unexpected from JessaKae as all of my dresses have been such high quality. I will give it two stars as the shape of the dress is cute and very flattering; the stitching is high quality. I was just not expecting such rough looking material. If you like that type of satin, I would suggest trying the dress as the shape is cute and very flattering, especially for hourglass shapes.
