Emmi Dress in Lilac

Beautiful!

I love the fabric and color of this dress. I went with a size large, as that has become my usual smocked size for the most part, however, the smocking is a little tighter on this one through the bust, so an XL may have been better but I will keep this one anyway since it's a little shorter than the XL and I'm tired of paying $40 to get these dresses hemmed. The details of the fabric are perfect and IMHO what makes Ivy City dresses stand out over other brands--and esp love that it is cotton!

Summer dress

Beautiful dress with pockets and very modest . Only minus is the sleeves move up and don’t stay in place . Making the sleeves look weird .

Too Long and Actually a Little big

This is my first Ivy City Co purchase (not secondhand). Usually the secondhand dresses that fit me perfectly or more snugly are size medium. This size medium is almost too big maybe. I am size 34G bust, 30 inch waist, 5'6". It is a little too large around the arms and the neckline does not necessarily seem to fit unless I move it to almost slipping off my shoulders. I do like the color and the eyelet lace. I like the neckline if I position it a certain way. It is actually super long. I thought since I am a bit taller it would hit more at the midi length, but it is a maxi on me. I prefer a midi length. Might exchange for a smaller size.
