Thermal Aluminum Astragal (Bronze Stainable)

It was all fine except I don't understand what I received. I thought I paid extra for a bronze finish. The finish was a wood grain. Not what I thought I ordered.

I bought this astragal to replace the wooden one on my entry French door. With the original astragal, I could see light and feel the cold or hot air coming through the gap with the size of the gap changing according to weather. I think the wooden doors are from the original 1970's construction and are in excellent condition. I hand never heard of Pease before but after looking at their information online, I felt they knew what they were talking about. I was not disappointed. The astragal arrived without damage and on time. It was the correct depth for the door. The 80 inch length allowed me to trim down to size to allow me to adjust according to my irregularities. I now have a sealed gap between my doors. One thing I find challenging is inserting the strip in the channel. The material is so stiff. I will try squeezing with a pliers and inserting. Anyway, thanks Pease for having the product I so needed.
