Fun kit

I have made two of these kits and given the birds away as gifts. In one set I put some lavender inside. I found them easy to sew and I didn't have any difficulty with the embroidery.

Good start?

I feel like this kit is a good start to a kit. However I'm a tad surprised there is not more information on where to stitch. I'm used to embroidery patterns with a more detailed set of information. I have a hard time placing things correctly on the birds with such little information and 1 basic template. I also wish the template was digital, had more copies or was made of sturdier material. I don't own a copier, and I'm definitely concerned I am going to wreck a template. I think if you are a confident embroidery artist, this is probably easy. For me, its less fun and more uncertain.

Very enjoyable kit! Easy and fun to put together these adorable birds. Will be ordering a second kit!
