Like all the Savory Spice extracts, the Anise is excellent. Nice aroma with distinct yet smooth taste. Others I've tried have too much alcohol, which makes them stringent and ruins the flavor of the food. A splash of this Anise extract is smooth enough to add a nice punch to an after dinner espresso.
