I was looking forward to making hot cocoa using the Mexican Cocoa and wanted to like it more than we did but it had an odd, grainy texture and not a lot of flavor. I had also expected something spicy. I should have realized it was actual Mexican chocolate instead, which is pretty mild. I will use the remaining cocoa to bake brownies, cookies or cake. I would not purchase this item again, however.
