This review is for the Diode Dynamics SS3 pro fog SAE Amber light pods. After over researching which light pods would be best for me I decided on Diode Dynamics for the following reasons: 1) cutoff line- for me the cut off line on these fog lights seem to be much cleaner than the other option available through CJC. 2) lumen output- lumen output on the SS3 pro has more than met my need. I was pleasantly surprised as to the light output and peripheral visibility.. 3) backlighting/ DRL functionality- although I do not recall seen on CJC website that the dynamics models had backlight functionality. I called and spoke to a representative at CJC and he advised that the model they sell comes with backlight functionality. That being said you would have to T connect to your DRL‘s or to fuse tap for functionality. The wiring harness included in the kit has a separate wire specific for said functionality and was relatively easy to do. 4) color- the color of the dial dynamics SS3 pro Amber is more of a true yellow color fog light and I am extremely happy about that. The added bonus was CJC‘s brackets that give more than enough adjustment for up and down side to side. I’m actually surprised that there were no reviews prior to me purchasing these. If you’re looking for clean, cut off lines, back lighting/DRL capability, slightly higher lumen output and a true yellow fog light then these are the right choice.
