SPE 6.7L Powerstroke Low Temp, High Flow Thermostat

Great for hot climates. I live in southern New Mexico and under towing or lots of stop and go, temps were getting higher than I'd prefer with the stock thermostat. Found this one and ordered it. Arrived in just a couple days and took less than 30 minutes to install. I noticed both engine and trans temps running about 15 degrees cooler afterwards and they tend to stick at that better rather than floating up and down like the factory thermostat did. Very satisfied with this! Wish they made one for my 3.0L Powerstroke too, I'd buy it.

Temps are down now. I have always been concerned with how warm my superduty runs and how that translates to higher transmission temps. It's fun to see it climb up to 181 and then right back down to 176-178 when the second stage opens up. Very pleased with this thermostat.

Thanks for this product. The thermostat did exactly as advertised, however it did not lower engine temps on my 6.7. I could tell that it opened when it was supposed to and it took longer to build temp, but I still wound up running at 240 degrees plus pulling a trailer. I'm definitely leaving the SPE thermostat in there, but am exploring other options to get engine temps down a little. I would encourage you to explore other shipping options than USPS. It took too long and arrived 2 days later than original estimates. In today's economy. It shouldn't take 8 days from time of shipment for me to get it. I have zero confidence in the USPS. Otherwise, your service and communications were great! I'll continue to be a customer.
