I have owned multiple 6.7 Powerstrokes, and have always used SPE as a good to source for performance upgrades. I currently own and operate a 2018 F450 as a hotshot truck. We do well over 100k miles a year, and are typically towing at least 25k, often more. I had been having trouble with the extreme amount of heat the engine generates while towing heavy for 10+hrs on a daily basis. I had been researching ways to bring temps down. I had to buy the parts here and there whenever I could scrape up a little extra cash. What I ended up installing was a lot like your kit, with a couple differences. I installed an aluminum degas tank (plastic one had a hairline crack from HEAT), your upper and lower radiator hoses, and the reroute kit for the secondary system to get all those little hoses off the top of the engine. Additionally, I also installed your high flow thermostat. I was extremely impressed with how precise the fitment was.on the hoses, and impressed with the material quality of the hoses themselves. I was hoping for some gains, but I've been around long enough to be able to manage my expectations. After taking the truck out and working it for a little over 2000 miles, I have to say that I am BLOWN AWAY by the differences I've seen. The transmission temp is staying 10-15 degrees cooler across the board. It's difficult to be precise without a digital readout, but I believe the coolant temp is running at least 25 degrees, and maybe as much as 50 degrees cooler across the board as well. The truck is running noticeably cooler. I think before I was maybe even getting some heat soak after the truck had been pulling for several hours. It can confidently say now that we are cooling much more efficiently and quickly than ever before. If the temps begin to climb on a hill or for and other reason, they cool off almost instantly. When I stop for a break, even after running for several hours, the engine oil temp drops like a rock. I could not be more satisfied with the way these parts are performing! These are amazing products and I would recommend them for anyone who is doing heavy towing or working their engine hard on a consistent basis. These new diesels build so much heat and pressure. They are definitely a different animal from the larger engines in semi trucks. SPE has cracked the code for controlling the heat. It really is a game changer. I know that reducing these temps is greatly reducing the general wear and tear on the primary piece of equipment that feeds my family.
