The matte., black metal against our white-painted brick . The brackets attached well with the masonry screws provided . I wish you had included a masonry drill bit for the pre-drilling of the bracket screw holes into the brick .

We purchased minimalist handrail to replace existing square oak handle rail installed by the builder. we installed tow handrails, one on each side of the stair well, to improve safety of grandchildren and older adults using the stairs.
