Simms Vest Disappoints

I’ve always been a fan of Simms fishing apparel and equipment. From boots to waders, vests and rain gear. All have been top notch in quality and service. Unfortunately in this case, the new Fall Run vest was a disappointment. The fit is off, XL was way too big, and Large cuts under the arms. Not typical as I’ve owned several over the years. The item came shoved in a bag, and taped with a hole in the wrapping. Certainly not to the standard one would expect. I remain a fan of Simms, but afraid the company may be taking short cuts to increase profits.

Excellent vest, not bulky. Breathable and still warm perfect for layering.
