A + quality and comfort for long days of city walking

Quality- as soon as these shoes arrived I inspected the construction and quality of materials. The soles were cut perfectly, the stitching was consistent and well done, and the leather was extremely soft and supple. Fit- I am always a size 8 (foot 9.5 inches heel to longest toe) but this shoe is recommended to order a half size up so I ordered an 8.5. I would say the shoe is roughly a quarter size too big (but I did keep them). Keep that in mind if your regular size is roomy; you may not need the half size up. These shoes are also solidly a M with. My right foot is slightly wide (for a size 8 it measures just 2/16ths inch wider than the high end for a M shoe. I used a leather stretch spray and a manual leather stretcher for around 24 hours which made the shoes fit perfectly. Feel- the interior of this shoe is a0 super soft leather which (for me at least) means absolutely no blisters at the heel or rubbing around the ankle bones. Zero break in time. I would say these have moderate arch support and padding. I am writing this review after walking over 20,000 steps today. Yesterday was just over 12,000 steps and I expect tomorrow will be somewhere in between. My feet/legs feel pretty darn good. Final thought- great quality/construction, give them a try if you have wider feet (they stretched well for me), very comfortable for lots of city walking. P.S. Spray them with leather protector and any dirt you get on them will wipe right off with a damp sponge.

So far, the shoes are great Cute and comfortable. I was worried that they would rub blisters on my heels, but I got the no show socks too and they work well together.
