FoxAlien Air Assist Pump AP30A

Works as advertised, but…

The tubing included with the pump didn’t fit the FoxAlien 80w laser it was listed as an accessory for, nor the pump it was included with. Not a big deal to get the appropriate sized tubing, but if you're looking to just unbox and start using, you may have issues.

Hose problem

Fitting and hose are two different sizes also pump has very little pressure, I just filled out another form but it would not let me send it

Decent pump

I'm using this pump with the FoxAlien 80W laser. The pump is quiet, delivers a decent amount of airflow (to keep soot off my laser), and it reduces discoloration on the face of my workpieces. The air flow control knob is a nice addition, but I don't really use it - I just keep the airflow on max. There are a couple drawbacks: the brass barb fitting on the pump is not sized correctly for the supplied hose line. I struggled to install the hose - I'll have to find an aftermarket fitting to fix this pump. In addition, the hose line is 2-feet too short (0.5m): I can't completely route it through the e-chain on my XE-PRO... so I'll have to buy a longer hose at some point to clean up the installation.
