Going to Panama

Our hats arrived as scheduled and fit perfectly! We were recently in the Galápagos and learned that the hats originated from Ecuador and saw that these hats were made there. We will wear them with pride on the upcoming Panama cruise. Bought one for me and one for my wife. The couple were are traveling w also bought one each!

The Perfect Panama!

Thought I needed a stiffer material to maintain its shape. But the softer, finer material has its advantages. High wind tends to bend the brim up instead of getting underneath and lifting the hat off. It also packs easier and looks better! I found that dampening areas to be shaped and then setting with a hair dryer works wonders. The Medium size seemed a little large for my size 7 head at first, but either my head grew or the hat shrunk a bit. Now it's a perfect fit and stays on in 20 knots of wind. Kinda' spendy (for me) but worth it! :-)
