The Flora Women's Loafer in Eden Noir

Like the shoes, sizing is off, and customer service is lacking

The shoes themselves are gorgeous. I would love to wear them, but unfortunately they are too small. All the advice says to order a half size DOWN, and I ordered my usual size (Men's 9/Women's 11). They are way too tight to even squeeze my foot in. The issue with their sizing is that they are actually in European sizes, which is great because those are more accurate. However, their size conversion are COMPLETELY off. A Men's 9 is typically a 43 in European sizes, but Taft has the 9 converted to 41. So their advice to size down half a size only applies if you usually don't purchase European sizes. Their sizes are super misleading for me, who purchases European size shoes mainly. I reached out to customer service to exchange for the correct size. They were kind enough to offer to allow me to return despite these being final sale, but I wanted an exchange, not a return. If I repurchase, the sale price and promotion I used to buy this pair would not apply, and I would be paying over $100 extra for the same shoes, which is obviously not worth it. Plus I would have to pay to have the shoes returned at all. I'm really disappointed that my first experience with this company went so poorly. I was very excited to wear these shoes based on all the great reviews I've read.

Too tight

The recommendation was to size down, but in doing so, these were too tight. I can't return them because they were final sale. They are super cute though and I'd love to get another pair of shoes from Taft
