My dog will definitely not slip out of this one. One thing I don't like is that the seat belt connector is on the bottom. My dog peed on the seat belt connector because it is right in the way of where he pees. My dog is a chihuahua. I purchased an xs.

This harness saved my dog’s life

I had the nightmare experience: a deer ran in front of my car on the highway and the car was totaled. Air bags deployed and it was an incredibly violent impact. I had my dog in the car, wearing this harness, strapped in to the seatbelt in the backseat and he was completely fine. If he hadn’t been in the harness he absolutely would’ve gone through the windshield. I cannot express enough how grateful I am. Thank you Ruffwear for making this harness, thank you so much. To anyone considering this product, know that I’ll never have a dog in the car without this harness for the rest of my life!

Comfy, but difficult to adjust and put on!

Like the harness as a replacement for the harness used for our previous rescue dog as it is too big for our new rescue dog and is no longer made. It is more difficult to adjust than the previous harness, so we are happy our new pup is patient during the adjustment process . Great quality! Wish other colors were available.
