It pulsed entire time. Trying to sleep is a bit annoying with these on legs. Sat in delta one so my legs were elevated and definitely think there is value in the pulses. Save the packaging to re-adhere the devices for next trip. Package has expiration date. The device is sticky without pulling too much.

Took a little asjusting to find the sweet spot but once i found it, it worked great!! Even the ashesive is strong enough to remove over and over again, but not strong enough to hurt taking off!
