Mirabelle Dress

So so cute!

I bought this dress on sale last fall and still hadn't worn it. I wore it last week on my cruise and omg I just love it!! It fit my body so nice and wow it is ULTRA light!

Breathable/Light Fabric

There is lots of pros and cons about this dress. This dress is very thin, It's only lined in the chest area the rest is unlined, though the tiered layers does stop it from being see through. I suppose this dress is best worn during the hotter time of the year so the fabric being thin is a plus in that way. The floral pattern matched with the tier effect is flattering on the body and it's well proportioned. It reminds me a lot of a Mexican flamenco/folklorico dress, one I can wear casually, which is why I bought it. The fit is what I struggle with, the straps are not adjustable and they feel like they are just way too long. I don't have a super small bust, 50C, but this dress could have really used some adjustable features. Maybe darts in the side, a different neck line, or elastic in the straps/neckline area so the straps could be worn off shoulder to make it more flattering. I will be having this one tailored at a later date. Giving it a 4 because the overall pattern and design is really pretty.

A Summer Dream

This dress is just what I needed for all the summer weddings I end up at! It fits beautifully and I love the ruffles!
