You have three different modes that can quickly be selected by rotating the switch on the side that surrounds the power on/off button. With 500 lumen max intensity it offers a surprising amount of brightness for its small size. The build quality is excellent with an aluminum body and the clip feels solid and sturdy. This would be a great travel companion since it doesn't weigh much or take up a lot of luggage space.
