Yosemite Waterfall Set

My husband and I recently moved from Central California to the Seattle area. I had been hiking Yosemite for decades and taken thousands of photos. About 3 decades ago I bought some posters at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Valley. They’ve been occupying a prominent spot in our old house in California. I’ve been wanting to own Ansel Adams photographs for a long time. After moving away from Yosemite I wanted something special, other than my own photos and enlargements. When I saw this waterfall set in a recent email from the gallery I figured, this is it! I’ve hiked to all 3 waterfalls many times. Those are great memories. Owning a set by a master I have always greatly admired is very special to me. Black and white photography is classic and timeless. I hung them on the wall facing the front door. When entering the house this is the first thing people see. There’s nothing competing with the photographs on that wall. I hung them slightly higher than eye level, drawing the eye right to the photos. I did something similar with my Ansel Adams posters. They occupy their own large wall as people come up a stair case. So. Weather people enter our house on the top floor or bottom floor, first thing they see is Ansel Adams Yosemite photography. It establishes the fact that the people who live here have great taste! 😄
